Before we get into the whole gist, let me first summarise.
Just like you, I also sell some products online and I started by posting pictures of my products on Instagram
"incessantly". I did get some sales (very few) but do you know how many unserious people I got before a sale?
Those who always ask for the price even when it is clearly stated in your advert.
Those who would enter your DM to ask for price and go mute once you tell them.
It can be frustrating and I know the feeling too.
But these people are all over social media, I call them - THE ENEMY OF PROGRESS.
That might sound harsh but my thoughts regarding this is,
"If you are not going to buy my product any time soon, don't contact me asking for the price, especially when I have it boldly written in my advert".
Instagram is beginning to look like an Aswani Market, but I want something that looks like a Balogun Market.
You know! Not many people go to Balogun Market to be pricing goods up and down. Most people going to Balogun market mean business, they are there to buy and spend that money.
And that is exactly what I want, and am sure you want it too....
